What Siri voice commands can I use to control my HomeKit-enabled Sensi thermostat?
There are several commands you can give Siri to control your HomeKit-enabled Sensi thermostat. You can check the temperature in your home or check the thermostat’s set point temperature. You can set a new temperature set point, and raise or lower the temperature set point. You can even change the mode between heat, cool, or auto mode.
Below are some commands to start with. Just activate Siri by holding your iOS device’s home button for 3 seconds, and say one of the following:
- “What is my home’s temperature” – to get your home temperature
- “What is my thermostat’s temperature” – to get the thermostat temperature set point
- “Set my thermostat to 70 degrees” – to set your thermostat to 70 degrees
- “Increase my thermostat temperature by 2 degrees” – to raise your thermostat set point
- “Lower my thermostat temperature by 2 degrees” – to lower your thermostat set point
- “Set my thermostat to cooling” – to change from heat mode to cool mode
