How to reset your Sensi thermostat
To troubleshoot some issues, you may need to reset your Sensi thermostat. We recommend only resetting the thermostat if support instructions advised you to reset the thermostat.
See below for instructions on how to reset your Sensi based on model.
You will have to reconnect your Sensi to Wi-Fi after performing the reset for each model. Use these instructions to reconnect to Wi-Fi.
Also, allow 30-60 minutes for the thermostat to fully re-calibrate your room temperature.
Sensi smart thermostat
- Go over to the thermostat on the wall.
- Simultaneously, press and hold the up-arrow button, the down-arrow button, and the Fan button. You’ll see the display flash and reboot.
- Release the buttons when you see the display reboot.
Sensi Lite smart thermostat
- Go over to the thermostat on the wall.
- Simultaneously, press and hold the up-arrow button, the down-arrow button, and menu button (three dots) for 1+ second until the display resets.
Sensi Touch smart thermostat
- Go over to the thermostat on the wall.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap About thermostat.
- Tap Factory Reset.
Sensi Touch 2 smart thermostat
- Go over to the thermostat on the wall.
- Tap the menu icon.
- Tap About thermostat.
- Tap Factory Reset.
Sensi Room Sensor
- Go over to the physical sensor.
- Remove the plastic piece on the back of the sensor to expose the battery compartment.
- Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
